Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan actress Charlie Chauhan has got married to Kolkata Knight Riders cricketer Ramandeep Singh in an intimate ceremony. The photos and videos from their wedding are going viral on the internet. The news has left their fans surprised because they kept their relationship under wraps.
In the videos and photos going viral on the internet, we can see the couple tying the knot as per a traditional Sikh wedding at a Gurudwara. The private ceremony was attended by their family and close friends, including fellow cricketers and celebs from the television industry. Punjab cricketers were also present to celebrate the occasion.
Among those spotted at the celebrations were India pacer Arshdeep Singh, Mumbai Indians batter Naman Dhir, Mumbai Indians fast bowler Ashwini Kumar and Punjab cricketer Jassinder Singh.
Actor and presenter Jay Bhanushali took to his Instagram Stories offering glimpses from the wedding. In one of the videos, Charlie can be seen walking down the aisle.
For the wedding, Charlie opted for a maroon lehenga with golden detailing at the borders. She accessorised her look with gold jewellery. Ramandeep, on the other hand, completed her look in an embroidered cream sherwani, paired with a red turban.
In another video from Charlie’s haldi and mehendi ceremonies, she looks elegant and is enjoying every moment.
Charlie Chauhan rose to fame with television shows including Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan and Best Friends Forever. She has also appeared on MTV Roadies. Earlier, she was in a serious relationship with Kunwar Amar, and together they participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye.
However, in 2015, it was reported that the couple parted ways amicably. The duo remained friends, and Amar even congratulated Charlie on getting married. He took to his Instagram Stories and shared a photo of the newlyweds along with a note that reads, “Their is no bigger happiness than seeing this moment come true for you. I wish and pray for you to have a beautiful life. Only and only happiness in your life, May god bless you a life full of love and beautiful memories together. Congratulations Chauhan Saab.”
Ramandeep Singh represents Punjab in domestic cricket and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). A seam-bowling all-rounder known for his hard-hitting batting and athletic fielding, Ramandeep was part of KKR’s title-winning match in the 2024 IPL. He made his Twenty20 debut for Punjab in the 2016-17 Inter-State Twenty-20 Tournament against Himachal Pradesh on January 29, 2017.
