Orry Vaishno Devi Drinking Case: The socialite influencer was caught consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra, the base camp for the pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Reasi district. A video he uploaded on his social media account exposed his brazenness and complete disregard for the violation of the law of the land. His actions have sparked nationwide outrage with social media users and political figures demanding strict action against the influencer. Amid this, Orry’s Snapchat activity has come to the limelight.
Upon landing in Jammu and Kashmir, Orry, true to habit, uploaded a story on Snapchat. In the video, he could heard saying, “Yes you all guessed right. I am going to call Cherry and tell him the bad news. The bad news being that I have landed.” While it is not certain if the social influencer uploaded the video from Jammu and Kashmir, his follow-up stories paint a clearer picture.
In the next post, Orry shared a picture of ‘Gucci mushroom’ a delicacy locally available in Jammu and Kashmir, confirming that he had landed in the state. The next story he shared was from the Vaishno Devi where a friend of his could be seen dancing to the dholak. He captioned the post, “Vaishnodevi Vibes”.
Orry and his friends have been at large ever since an FIR has been lodged against them. Amid this, an old video of the socialite influencer from an commercial has gone viral online. In the video, he can be seen playing cricket with Shikar Dhawan. When asked to take a run, the 29-year-old replies, “Chill Shikhu, I run, I am a runner”. This seems to be a reference of his own viral phrase, “I am a liver” which he said when he was asked about what he does for a living. The video has now resurfaced online.
Orry and the group’s phone remain untraceable after they were booked for “violating the law of the land” and “hurting the sentiments of people”. Protests have broke out in Katra with social media users and political activists demanding strict action against the influencer.
