‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ next for Raashii Khanna, Pawan Kalyan


Raashii Khanna, who was part of the film ‘Aranmanai 4’, has now boarded the cast of Telugu film ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, directed by Harish Shankar. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers of ‘Pushpa’ fame, the makers shared the news on X. ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ stars actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in the lead, along with Sreeleela.

 

Their caption read, “Team Ustaad Bhagat Singh welcomes the angelic Raashii Khanna on board as ‘Shloka’. She brings her grace and charm to the sets. Shoot underway (sic).” In the picture, Raashii Khanna can be seen in a green dress carrying a camera.

 

After several delays, Pawan officially joined the shoot of this much-anticipated entertainer. This was after he wrapped up the shoot of ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ and ‘They Call Him OG’. On June 6, the makers released a behind-the-scenes video on X, where Pawan is seen interacting with the cast on the sets.

The film also stars Sreeleela as the female lead. The ‘Kissik’ actor recently shared a picture from the sets of the film on her Instagram page. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film is a mass-action cop drama and marks a reunion of the actor-director duo after their successful collaboration on ‘Gabbar Singh’.

 

‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ has been in the pipeline for a while now and was delayed due to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments. Music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while cinematography is by Ayananka Bose while the editing is by Ujjwal Kulkarni.

 

Pawan’s period action drama, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, is slated to release in theatres on July 24. The film also stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Bobby Deol, Sathyaraj, Nargis Fakhri, and others. The film’s music is composed by MM Keeravani, with cinematography by Gnana Sekhar and Manoj Paramahamsa. The ‘Vakeel Saab’ actor also has ‘They Call Him OG’, currently scheduled to release in September.
