NEW DELHI: Ravindra Jadeja once again underlined his status as India’s premier all-rounder, smashing his sixth Test century on Day 2 of the opening Test against West Indies in Ahmedabad on Friday. Their stand propelled India to a dominant 448 for five, stretching the lead to 286 after bowling West Indies out for 162.Among the many admirers of Jadeja’s effort was former India opener Aakash Chopra, who took to social media platform X to lavish praise on the all-rounder. “Jadeja is the undisputed World’s Number 1 Test All-Rounder. The one aspect that’s not celebrated enough is his fitness. He hasn’t lost any pace or sharpness on the field. Running between the wickets etc. He’s rarely injured too. Incredible player,” Chopra wrote.
