UAE-Russia: Air Arabia announces weekly direct flights from Ras Al Khaimah to Yekaterinburg

Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC), has officially launched its weekly non-stop service between Ras Al Khaimah and Yekaterinburg, Russia, marking another milestone in the airline’s growing network from the northern emirate.The schedule for the new route is as follows (all times local):

In a statement, Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said:“The commencement of our new service to Yekaterinburg marks another step in expanding Air Arabia’s growing network from Ras Al Khaimah. This new route reinforces our commitment to offering our customers affordable and seamless connectivity while supporting both tourism and trade between the UAE and Russia.”

Expanding connectivity from Ras Al Khaimah

The new route comes as part of Air Arabia’s ongoing expansion from Ras Al Khaimah, providing travellers more convenient and cost-effective options. In addition to Yekaterinburg, the airline already operates regular non-stop flights from Ras Al Khaimah to Moscow, further strengthening travel links between the UAE and Russia.

Onboard experience

Air Arabia operates one of the most modern fleets in the world, consisting of 68 Airbus A320 and 9 A321neo LR aircraft. Each aircraft is designed for enhanced comfort, offering one of the most spacious seat pitches in the economy class segment. Passengers can access ‘SkyTime’, a complimentary in-flight streaming service, to enjoy a wide selection of entertainment directly on their personal devices. The airline also offers ‘SkyCafe’, an onboard menu featuring a variety of affordable meals, snacks, and beverages.

Fleet and future plans

Air Arabia’s A321neo LR aircraft, part of the Airbus A320 family, can accommodate up to 215 passengers and features a state-of-the-art cabin interior. The airline has also placed an order with Airbus for 120 new A320 Family aircraft, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2025, reflecting its confidence in continued network growth and market demand. Air Arabia currently flies to over 206 destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, and Europe. Travellers can book flights directly via the Air Arabia website, call centre, or authorised travel agents.
