‘Thamma’ Box Office Collection Day 9: Ayushmann Khurrana’s Film Inches Towards Rs 110 Crore Mark | Movies News


New Delhi: Thamma worldwide box office collection day 9 — Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror-comedy Thamma has officially entered the Rs 100 crore club. The film, which was released in theatres on October 21, has maintained its strong momentum at the box office.

The movie has earned Rs 104 crore net in India within nine days of its release and continues to perform well.

On Day 8, the film collected Rs 5.50 crore in India, according to box office tracker Sacnilk.

According to the trade website Sacnilk, Thamma made an estimated Rs 2.72 crore net in India on Wednesday, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 104.07 crore net, showing a slight dip. After a Rs 24 crore opening, the horror-comedy went on to earn Rs 95.6 crore in its first week.

The movie had already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark on its eighth day, bringing in Rs 5.75 crore, compared to Rs 4.3 crore on Monday. Thamma has emerged as the second-highest earner in its franchise. On Tuesday, it surpassed the lifetime collection of Munjya, which had earned Rs 101.60 crore in 2024.

Thamma is part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. For context, Stree (2018) collected Rs 129.83 crore in India during its lifetime run, while Stree 2 (2024) raked in Rs 597.99 crore. The other films in the franchise — Bhediya (2022) and Munjya (2024) — earned Rs 68.99 crore and Rs 101.60 crore, respectively, in India during their theatrical runs.
