'Racist tantrums’ in Texas? US-based entrepreneur asks Indians to exit state. But why

A US-based entrepreneur asked Indians to leave Texas and said that “racist tantrums” were not worth financial incentives such as the state’s lack of income tax. In a post, James Blunt said that there are “tons of beautiful states” that are more welcoming and suggested that property taxes in Texas undermine its perceived economic advantages.“Indians should leave Texas. Start a movement – #LeavingFleabagFrisco. The racist tantrums are dumb. Let the people who want to stew in resentment coddle each other. There are tons of beautiful states, and many of them are genuinely welcoming. Don’t lose your self-respect just to save on state taxes. It’s not worth it, your property taxes are ridiculous anyway. AND Texas is a sh******,” the post reads. The post sparked support and criticism. One of the comment was: “No. The US should ban the H-1B visa. Do you really think India, China, or any other country would tolerate an H-1B-style system in their own country? A big hell no. People should stop migrating to the West. They don’t want it.”

“No. That’s what the racists exactly want. These once upon a time sleepy suburbs outside of Dallas, Houston, & Austin used to be sundown towns. Texas has experienced phenomenal growth in the last 25 years. The racists have to hate someone before they fade away,” another user said. A user said, “Don’t give the racists that satisfaction. Are you secretly on their side?”
