NEW DELHI: A post-match press conference in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 turned tense after Islamabad United head coach Luke Ronchi lost his cool following his team’s defeat to RawalPindiz.Islamabad United endured a disappointing outing, getting bowled out for just 137, a target RawalPindiz chased down comfortably in 18.1 overs to register a six-wicket win. The loss appeared to have left Ronchi visibly frustrated, and that frustration spilled over during his interaction with the media.

The situation escalated when a journalist interrupted Ronchi while he was in the middle of answering a question. Clearly annoyed by the breach of protocol, Ronchi snapped, saying, “He can ask me a question, I don’t give a s**t.”Watch:His remark created an awkward moment in the room, prompting the media coordinator to quickly step in and restore order, urging journalists to maintain decorum during the press conference.

Despite being out of contention for the playoffs, RawalPindiz finally had a reason to celebrate. The franchise, playing its debut PSL season, had endured a difficult campaign with eight consecutive losses before this match.
