Minnesota tribe reduces casino land request by nearly 75% after locals raise concerns

The project, planned for Clay County, has not yet received federal approval and also requires concurrence from Minnesota’s governor. Tribal representatives say a decision could come by late 2028 under the most favourable circumstances.
