Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) have completed a player trade ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season, with left-arm pacer T Natarajan returning to his former franchise and leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari moving in the opposite direction.

Natarajan returns to SRH after one season with DC

Natarajan established himself as one of SRH’s key Indian pace bowlers during his previous stint with the franchise. His most successful IPL campaign came in 2024, when he claimed 19 wickets, finishing as the team’s leading wicket-taker and playing a crucial role in SRH’s run to the final.Delhi Capitals had acquired the left-arm pacer for INR 10.75 crore at the IPL 2025 Player Auction. However, following the trade, Natarajan will return to SRH at a revised fee of INR 5 crore. His return could strengthen SRH’s pace-bowling options, with his left-arm angle and ability to deliver at the death adding experience to the attack.

Zeeshan Ansari joins Delhi Capitals

Leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari will move to Delhi Capitals after representing Sunrisers Hyderabad in 10 matches during IPL 2025.Ansari made an immediate impact on his IPL debut against DC, claiming three wickets and announcing himself as a promising spin-bowling option. He has taken six wickets across 10 IPL appearances so far. The 26-year-old will join the Capitals at his existing fee of INR 40 lakh and is expected to provide additional depth to their spin department.
