IPL 2025 new schedule: Check venues, timings in IST, date, complete fixtures and more

NEW DELHI: The BCCI has officially announced the updated schedule for IPL 2025. The tournament is set to resume on May 17, with the final scheduled for June 3, as per the revised plan.Following extensive consultations with government authorities, security agencies, and key stakeholders, the Board has decided to move ahead with the remainder of the season.A total of 17 matches will be played across six venues, starting May 17 and culminating in the final on June 3. The revised schedule includes two double-headers, both to be played on Sundays.The playoffs will take place as follows:Qualifier 1 – May 29Eliminator – May 30Qualifier 2 – June 1Final – June 3NEW SCHEDULE:

Details of the venues for the playoff matches will be announced in due course.“The BCCI takes this opportunity to once again salute the bravery and resilience of India’s armed forces, whose efforts have enabled the safe return of cricket. The Board reaffirms its commitment to national interest while ensuring the successful completion of the league,” the BCCI said in its release.Last week, the BCCI suspended the remainder of the tournament for a week due to escalating cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan. With hostilities coming to a halt on Saturday, reports indicated that the IPL was set to resume soon.
