NEW DELHI: The BCCI’s Junior Cricket Committee on Friday announced a 15-member India U19 squad for the upcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup, to be held in Dubai from December 12 to 21. All eyes, however, will be on teen prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who headlines the batting unit after an impressive Emerging Asia Cup campaign where he stood out despite India A failing to reach the final.

Placed in Group A, India will open their campaign against yet-to-be-confirmed qualifiers on the opening day of the tournament before the highly anticipated showdown against Pakistan. Group B features Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and one qualifier.The tournament begins on December 12, with the final slated for December 21.
