Haiwaan Teaser Out: The makers of the Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan starrer have finally unveiled the trailer of the crime thriller. The teaser offers a dark and intense atmosphere, promising it to be a gripping thriller directed by Priyadarshan. Akshay and Saif’s face-off is something to watch out for.
The 45-second teaser is a perfect way to introduce the film, without giving the whole gist. The teaser builds up the sense of fear and thrill among the movie buffs, promising to keep them on the edge of their seats. The teaser opens with Saif, who is visually impaired, walking in dimily light place. Behind him, we can see the shadow of Akshay, who is keeping an eye on him through glass. The teaser hints that Saif’s every movement is being watched by Akshay.
Interestingly, the teaser has no dialogues and yet it left a lasting impact with just the background music.
Soon after the teaser was dropped on YouTube, movie buffs flooded the comment section, praising the teaser. A user wrote, “Akshay Kumar’s Villain MODE ACTIVATE”. Another wrote, “No dialogue fir bhi goosebumps akshay kumar villain mode on”. A third user wrote, “Akshay Kumar × Priyadarshan Duo Never Ever Dissapoints Blockbuster Loading”.
The film is inspired by the 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam, starring Mohanlal. The plot follows a visually impaired man protecting a young girl from a ruthless psychopath. Mohanlal will be making a cameo appearance in the film. The film also stars Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saiyami Kher, Rajpal Yadav and Sharib Hashmi in key roles. The music of the film is composed by Pritam. It is produced by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn under KVN Productions and Thespian Films.
The film is slated to release on September 11.
