‘Fan girl’ Nancy Pelosi believes Gavin Newsom make a ‘great president,’ reportedly Backs him for 2028 White House run: Report

White House former Speaker of Nancy Pelosi is a “fan girl” of Gavin Newsom and set her sights on getting him in the White House, a report claimed. The 85-year-old, who is serving out her last term before stepping down this year, believed the California governor would make a “great President”, according to Axios.“She’s a Gavin fan girl and she doesn’t crush on many people,” one former Pelosi aide said. “I will say this: She’s hardly ever wrong. When she says she sees something, it’s a real thing.”Pelosi, who served in Congress for nearly 4 decades, never shied away from publicly or privately endorsing Newsom, who is weighing a presidential run in 2028, according to former aides.“I saw him grow politically. I also saw him have this beautiful family, and for all of us who love him, seeing him evolve was wonderful to behold,” Pelosi previously told Vogue. For the 1st time, Pelosi would not be wielding House leadership power during a presidential election cycle, allowing her to pick favourites even before the primaries, according to the report.Newsom steadily raised his national and international profile, including speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, attending the Munich Security Conference, and authoring a memoir set to be released later this month.Pelosi and Newsom, both from San Francisco, are also related. Pelosi’s brother-in-law was briefly married to Newsom’s aunt.
