Elon Musk offers to cover legal costs of Epstein victims who get sued for 'speaking truth'

Elon Musk offered his support to victims of Jeffrey Epstein by offering to cover their legal expenses if they publicly name their abusers. His offer came in response to a discussion about a new PSA featuring Epstein’s victims that aired on Super Bowl Sunday. The tech billionaire made this commitment on X, replying to conservative commentator Matt Walsh’s posts about the PSA. “I will pay for the defense of anyone who speaks the truth about this and is sued for doing so,” said Musk.

The PSA showed several women who claim to be Epstein’s victims, urging Attorney General Pam Bondi to support their cause. In the video, they appeared alongside photos of themselves from when the alleged abuse occurred, stating, “After years of being kept apart, we’re standing together” and “Because we all deserve the truth.”Walsh questioned why these women haven’t named their abusers directly. He pointed out that the timing of their campaign was curious, noting it began just as Biden left office. He suggested they could safely reveal names through Congress members who could speak on the floor without legal risk. However, he noted that this hasn’t happened and questioned why. Further dismissing the defence that women fear being sued, Walsh added, “For those claiming that they can’t name names because they’ll be sued: they could simply give the names to any of their many (and mostly very recent ) advocates in congress, who could read the names out loud from the floor, insulating themselves and these women from any litigation. But they refuse to do that. Why?”It is in reponse to this that Musk offered to cover the legal costs.

Elon Musk in Epstein files?

A newly released photograph from the latest batch of Jeffrey Epstein files shows the disgraced financier at a 2015 dinner attended by Elon Musk and other tech figures. The image, disclosed by the US Department of Justice as part of a large release of investigative records, appears to show Musk seated at a long dining table alongside other prominent guests.Emails included in the documents indicate Epstein had noted plans to dine in Los Angeles with “musk thiel zuckerberg” in August 2015 and later sent himself a photograph from the gathering.Musk has previously said he declined invitations to Epstein’s private island and has not been accused of any crime.
