A lot of mistakes.”For Norrie, the victory marked his first career win against a top-ranked player. He sealed the match on his second match point when Alcaraz returned his powerful first serve long. This was their first indoor meeting, with Norrie now leading their head-to-head record 3-5.The loss comes as a surprise given Alcaraz’s impressive 2025 season, during which he claimed eight titles, including three Masters tournaments and two Grand Slams – the French Open and US Open.
