Vaidya wasn’t convinced and responded with a mocking video, poking fun at the explanation and warning his followers about algorithm-driven mistakes. Things took a sharp turn when Kohli allegedly blocked Vaidya on Instagram. In response, the singer called Kohli a “joker” and later posted inflammatory remarks about the cricketer’s fans after they began targeting his wife and sister with online abuse.
“I’m a fan of Virat’s cricket, but the personal attacks on my family crossed the line,” Vaidya said in one of his follow-up posts, standing by his original comment but denouncing the online hate. Now, with Kohli unblocking him, Vaidya appears ready to move on. His latest message strikes a far more respectful tone, praising Kohli’s achievements and patriotic spirit.
