Embracing his feminine side, celebrated actor Mohanlal has caught people’s attention with his recently-released advertisement in which he can be seen dressed up in exquisite and elaborate diamond jewels.
The almost-two-minute advertisement has been directed by popular ad filmmaker, Prakash Varma, who had previously acted with Mohanlal in the film, Thudarum. The light-hearted and fun theme carries an innocent charm of a man who is not afraid of coming across as vulnerable.
From what seems like behind-the-shoot scenes that the ad begins with, Mohanlal is shown stepping out of a car to be welcome on set by Prakash, who introduces him to model, Shivani, and explains that the ad has been shot in “fashion photography style”.
However, as soon as Mohanlal’s eyes are drawn to the stunning diamond jewellery that he spots on Shivani, he is mesmerised. In the next shot, the jewellery goes missing and the plot twist is revealed.
Mohanlal can be seen trying on the jewellery inside his vanity van, enthralled by its beauty as he performs a slow, elegant dance. With his delicate, feminine, and graceful energy, the actor owns the screen despite having no dialogues.
The ad ends on a funny note when Prakash walks in on the performance, and the two share a good laugh.

The ad has gone viral since its release, with fans flooding the actor’s social handles with words of appreciation.
A person noted, “Thanks for Breaking Gender Norms.” Another fan wrote on X: “Only Lalettan can do that (red heart emoji).”
Other fans called him “a complete actor,” and used the words “graceful,” “natural,” and even “cringe-worthy – but in the best way” to describe him.
The hashtag ‘GOAT’ (Greatest of All Time) has started trending on social media, which fans are referring Mohanlal as, alongside memorable images from his career.
After the film Thudarum, a crime thriller directed by Tharun and co-written by KR Sunil, Mohanlal has now appeared in the ad.
