The wrestling legend, born Terry Gene Bollea, passed away on Thursday morning in Clearwater, where emergency responders were called after reports of a cardiac emergency as per reports from NBC News and TMZ. Several police and medical units were seen outside Hogan’s residence, and he was reportedly taken out on a stretcher. His death comes weeks after his wife, Sky, denied rumours about his declining health, insisting his heart was “strong” after surgery. Hogan had undergone a major heart operation in June, and earlier this year, he had been hospitalised for long-standing neck and back issues.
