A fan in the stands became the talk of social media after an unfortunate, and rather painful, attempt to catch one of Brevis’s towering sixes.The 22-year-old Brevis walked in at No. 4 after Lhuan-dre Pretorius’ dismissal and wasted no time stamping his authority. Facing Aaron Hardie in the 10th over, the right-hander launched three no-look sixes in succession, each clearing the ropes with ease. In his rush, however, the fan misjudged his step backwards and collided with the fence, falling short of a perfect catch. Social media clips of the incident went viral within minutes, with fans joking that the supporter.Brevis, meanwhile, continued his fireworks, smashing 53 off just 26 deliveries, including six sixes and a four. His breathtaking knock was eventually cut short by Glenn Maxwell, who held on to a sharp catch at long-on in the 12th over.Despite Brevis’s dismissal, his audacious strokeplay, especially the hat-trick of no-look sixes, left a lasting mark on the game.
