Earthquake hits Afghanistan near Pak border

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan on Sunday morning, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).The earthquake was recorded at 9.36 am IST, with its epicentre located near Hindu Kush range on Afghanistan-Pakistan border.The quake took place at a depth of 147 km beneath the Earth’s surface.There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
