Watch: JD Vance's rant as he's asked if Donald Trump administration is protecting pedophiles
JD Vance breaks silence on Epstein case, replies to a question on whether his administration is protecting pedophiles.

Vice President JD Vance broke his silence over the ongoing Epstein row while his old social media post on Epstein goes viral from time to time. Following a speech in Ohio on Monday, Vance took a question from Associated Press reporter Julie Carr Smyth.“There are some protesters outside accusing the GOP of protecting pedophiles, and we’re wondering what you think are the reasons the US government should shield the client list of Epstein from the public, and what you have to say about any relevance to that here today?” the reporter asked JD Vance.Vance’s clear three-word reply to the reporter was: “Nothing to hide”Vance said he knows that Attorney General Pam Bondi was working hard to prepare to release additional material in connection with the Epstein case after Trump ordered to release them in the wake of the controversy. “I got to make an observation. There’s an interesting thing about this case that the American media seems to totally ignore,” Vance said. “For literally 20 years, the story about this scumbag, and he is a scumbag pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, he’s dead now. But for 20 years, you had Obama and George W Bush’s Department of Justice go easy on this guy,” Vance said. “And now Donald J. Trump is asking his Department of Justice to show full transparency, and somehow that’s a criticism of Donald J Trump, and not Barack Obama and George W. Bush.”“Donald J Trump, I’m telling you, he’s got nothing to hide. His administration has got nothing to hide,” Vance added. “And that’s why he’s been an advocate for full transparency in this case. He’s going to keep on being an advocate for full transparency.”After the administration closed the Epstein investigation and announced that there was no foul play in Epstein’s death and the convicted sex trafficker did not keep any contact list, a major controversy broke out with several reports detailing how close Trump was with Epstein. Trump denied the allegations and said he never went to Epstein’s infamous island. His administration spoke to Epstein’s former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is seeking to overturn her conviction. Maxwell is also hoping for a presidential pardon.
