Teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has drawn attention in a short span with his performances. Whenever he is on the field, his batting tends to create moments that fans notice. His fan following has been growing steadily, including among children.A recent video shared on social media shows Sooryavanshi signing autographs for young fans. In the clip, the fan is heard comparing him to Yuvraj Singh. “You are like Yuvraj Singh,” one fan can be heard saying. Children appear visibly excited while meeting the India Under-19 batter. The video has since circulated widely online. Sooryavanshi is currently part of India’s Under-19 squad at the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup 2025. In the opening match of the tournament, he scored 171 runs against UAE and played a key role in India’s win.

However, the left-handed opener could not repeat that performance in the match against Pakistan at the ICC Academy Ground on Sunday. After being bowled out for 240, Ayush Mhatre’s side delivered a controlled bowling effort, dismissing Pakistan for 150 in 41.2 overs in Dubai on Sunday. Deepesh Devendran and Kanishk Chouhan led the attack, picking up three wickets each.
