Georgina Rodríguez announces that Cristiano Ronaldo asked her to marry him.

The couple’s story began in 2016, when Ronaldo met Georgina at a Gucci store in Madrid, where she was working as a sales assistant. A chance meeting soon turned into a relationship that became public in early 2017. Over the years, they have built a close family, welcoming daughters Alana Martina and Bella Esmeralda, while Georgina has also taken on the role of raising Ronaldo’s three other children. Their journey has also included heartbreak, as they lost one of their newborn twins, a boy, in 2022.

How do you feel about Ronaldo’s move to Saudi Arabia?

Born in Argentina and raised in the Spanish town of Jaca, Georgina trained in dance before moving to Madrid as a young adult. From retail jobs to a career in modelling and influencing, she has since appeared in fashion campaigns, launched her own business ventures and starred in the Netflix reality series I Am Georgina, which gave fans a glimpse into her life. The family now divides their time between Europe and Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr after a glittering career with clubs like Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United. After years together, the question many fans had been waiting for has finally been asked. Ronaldo made his move, and Georgina’s answer was clear — a joyful yes, sealed with a smile and a ring.
