The Trump administration wants to look into Fort Knox, the legendary depository for American gold reserves in Kentucky. Why? “To make sure the gold is there.” But where would the gold have gone? If the gold is missing, what would it mean to the US economy? To us in India? And what are India’s own gold holdings and where do we store them?
