Vivo T4 5G Launch: What to Expect From This Mid-Ranger?

Vivo’s next major smartphone in the mid-range could be called T4 5G. As part of the company’s popular T-series, the T4 5G is expected to offer theoretically powerful specifications, including a high-refresh-rate display, a 5G chip, likely the biggest battery in the segment. While Vivo has not confirmed the launch, it has reportedly begun teasing the T4 5G for an expected release in April. Here is everything interested customers should know about the Vivo T4 5G ahead of its rumoured launch.

According to 91Mobiles, the upcoming T4 5G will pack a 7300mAh battery — the biggest in the price segment. For reference, the predecessor, the Vivo T3 5G came with a 5000mAh battery, while the T2 5G had a smaller 4500mAh battery. In its promotional materials, Vivo appears to have claimed the T4 5G will leap in terms of runtime compared to its prequels. The battery will likely support 90W fast charging.

Vivo’s upcoming T4 5G may use a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a jump from the MediaTek processor in the T3 5G. It is, however, unclear how big of a jump it could offer in real-world performance. The Vivo T4 5G may pack a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Vivo is likely calling it the Turbo Display, without specifying any advanced features it might offer.

The Vivo T4 5G is expected to house a 50MP main camera, which uses a Sony sensor, and a 2MP secondary camera on its back. Its selfie camera may use a 32MP sensor. The report added that the Vivo T4 5G will be launched with Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15, but it should support at least two major OS upgrades. The smartphone may pack at least 8GB of RAM, with its top model expected to offer 12GB along with 256GB of internal storage.

Vivo’s upcoming smartphone will also likely have an IR blaster, which would help users control TVs, ACs, and other appliances.

The report has suggested the Vivo T4 5G will be priced between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000, hinting at a hike over the last generation model. We will find out more about the Vivo T4 5G in the coming days.
