Vi 5G Launched in Mumbai, Rollout Soon in Bihar, Delhi, Karnataka



Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has finally introduced its 5G services in India, piloting with Mumbai. The third-largest telecom company’s 5G connectivity will offer high internet speeds and better communication between connected devices. While Vi’s 5G network will expand to more circles, including Bihar, Delhi-NCR, Karnataka, and Punjab, it comes at a point when its rivals, Reliance Jio and Airtel, offer their 5G services to over 7,500 cities and towns, covering a cumulative base of more than 260 million users.

In addition to announcing the launch, Vi has listed the eligible recharge packs that will enable 5G services on users’ connections. While the prepaid plans start at ₹299, offering 1GB of data per day, postpaid users can purchase the Vi Max 451 plan or higher to activate the 5G service. Here is a full list of Vi 5G plans:
