Vansh Bedi's nap in CSK dugout steals the spotlight in viral image

NEW DELHI: Chennai Super Kings faced their third straight defeat in Indian Premier League 2025, falling 25 runs short against Delhi Capitals at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Saturday.
While KL Rahul’s brilliant 77 and Delhi’s disciplined bowling set up the win, it was an off-field moment that grabbed the internet’s attention.

A photo from the CSK dugout went viral during the match, showing a concerned support staff and players — including Ravindra Jadeja — watching anxiously as the team lost two early wickets in their run chase. But next to them, 22-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Vansh Bedi was spotted calmly napping amidst the tension.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the image. One user on X joked, “I wanna be as unbothered as Vansh Bedi is.”

Despite the on-field setback, the candid moment offered a slice of humour that fans latched onto.
CSK, with two home losses already this season, have slipped into a tough spot, but Bedi’s chill attitude provided an unexpected viral highlight. The image now symbolises comic relief in CSK’s otherwise worrying campaign.
