Trolls Attack Sonakhi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal’s Inter-Faith Marriage Yet Again, Actress Hits Back In Holi Post



Ever since her wedding on June 23, 2024, Sonakshi Sinha has been subjected to trolling about the inter-fait relationship with Zaheer Iqbal. Time and again, the actress has addressed such trolls and stood in support of her husband. A similar thing happened during Holi 2025, when the actress ad to again take to her Instagram account to pen a note for the miscreants online.

On March 14, Sonakshi Sinha took to her Instagram account to share a series of photos from the Holi celebration. The actress shared photos in a white kurti andcolours smeared across her face, However, what caught the attention of social media users was the absence of her husband Zaheer Iqbal in the photos.

Upon receiving hateful comments about Zaheer’s absence, Sonakshi Sinha decided to act up. She then edited the caption of the post to clarify that she had posted only a single shot from the celebration because she was not in Mumbai with her husband. She specified, “Comments mein thoda relax karo…@iamzahero mumbai mein hai, aur mein shoot pe hu isiliye saath mein nahi hai…thanda paani dalo sar pe. (Please relax in the comment section. Zaheer is in Mumbai and I am shooting elsewhere, which is why we are not celebrating together. Pour water on your head to cool down).” Following this, the actress even limited the comment section.

Sonakshi’s affirmative action came after a few users took to the comment section to attack her inter-faith marriage with Zaheer Iqbal. Some mentioned that he is absent from the Holi celebration because he is celebrating the month of Ramzan. Some even pointed out that it is her first Holi after the wedding and so she must celebrate it with her husband. However, fans of the actress rallied behind her and hailed her for shutting down the naysayers.
