A planned moment of silence to honour former Liverpool forward Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva was interrupted at Sunday’s Community Shield match at Wembley.During the tribute before the Liverpool versus Crystal Palace game, some fans failed to maintain silence, leading to boos from other spectators. The tribute coincided with new signing Jeremie Frimpong scoring to give Liverpool a 2-1 lead.However, Ismaïla Sarr brought the scoreline to 2-2, with the match heading to penalties, where Palace edged out Liverpool (3-2) to lift the title.The Community Shield serves as England’s traditional season opener, featuring a match between the previous season’s Premier League champions and FA Cup winners.
