SSR Warriors Restart Battle For Justice As Disha Salian’s Father Questions Aditya Thackeray

Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager Disha Salian’s deaths, eerily days apart from each other in 2020, have been shrouded in mystery. Disha, 28, died on June 8, 2020, after allegedly falling from the 14th floor of a building in Mumbai. Six days later, on June 14, Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found dead at his residence in Mumbai in what was ruled as a suicide. Both families have stressed that theirs is not a case of suicide.

Speaking to Republic, as Disha’s father Satish Salian alleged that Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray is involved in his daughter’s death and should be interrogated in custody, the viral hashtag ‘Justice For SSR’ also started trending on social media. Netizens demanded that information related to Sushant’s death be made public by the CBI, which has been investigating the case for nearly five years now.

In an explosive interview with Republic, Disha’s father Satish Salian alleged that her daughter did not commit suicide but was murdered. He also linked her death to the mysterious demise of Sushant Singh Rajput in June 2020. While demanding justice, he urged for a probe into Aaditya Thackeray’s alleged role in the case.

Satish Salian also alleged that Disha had no injury marks on her body, despite falling from a high-rise building. “When the body falls from the thirteenth floor, there has to be injury marks, but my daughter’s body did not have any injury marks,” he told Republic. With allegations of murk surrounding Disha’s death and political connections emerging again, netizens once again called for a thorough investigation into Sushant’s mysterious passing.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh said about the political connection in the matter, “If the CBI is investigating the case properly, all things will come to light. I have said this before, Sushant cannot commit suicide. He was not the kind of person who would die by suicide. I spoke to him a week before his death. All was okay and he spoke nicely. Nothing seemed off about his tone, indicating he could take such a drastic step.”

About the investigation and whether or not justice has been served, KK Singh added, “When there has been no ruling, how can I say justice has been served? I don’t know anything, about what the CBI has found in its investigation. I want the truth to come out.”
