SSMB29: BIG Leak In Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran Starrer Shows Actor In Wheelchair, Watch Videos From Rajamouli’s Film

SSMB29 has reportedly been shooting in Odisha with Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The two actors are said to be headlining SS Rajamouli’s untitled next, billed as a jungle-set action adventure film. A video purportedly from the sets of the movie, along with some images, of what fans believe are Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran have gone viral. While the movie has been under a lot of speculation since the Baahubali and RRR director teased it in 2023 during the Oscars campaign, the leak may come as a blow to the makers.

Mahesh Babu has been preparing for his role in SS Rajamouli’s next for over a year now. After his last release, Guntur Kaaram (2024), the Telugu star is completely focussed on his next big project. SSMB29 reportedly also filmed a short schedule earlier this year, speculation for which grew after Priyanka Chopra was rumoured to come onboard the ambitious project. She reportedly met the team in Hyderabad.

In the new video leak said to be from the set of SSMB29, an actor can be seen walking in the open grounds. As the wind blows, he is pushed and comes face-to-face with another man, who is a motor-operated wheelchair. Many were reminded of the wheelchair-bound Professor Charles from the X-Men series.

While the video and snaps circulated online are blurry, many speculated that the two actors were Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj. Some remained skeptic and claimed they were body doubles, but believed that the movies could be shooting. Recently, the two actors were also seen meeting the officials around the shooting location.

Movie leaks tend to hurt the makers while others use it as a publicity tool. Since the buzz around SSMB29 has been low due to the prolonged, nearly two years of pre-production, the leak could likely help bolster the positive talk there is around the film, given the cast, budget and the cinematic experience that comes together with SS Rajamouli’s film with the biggest Indian stars.
