Sky Force, Manamey, Rekhachithram On OTT: Most Awaited Films Make Streaming Debut Before Holi Amid No New Theatrical Releases



Sky Force, Manamey, Rekhachithram On OTT: March 2025 has been unusually scarce of theatrical releases. Despite the big Holi weekend, filmmakers chose to skip the date for new releases on the big screens. However, this does not leave the audience without a choice. The films that you might have missed in there’s earlier this year are all set to make OTT debut. You can now stream Sky Force, Manamey and Rekhachithram online from the comfort of your home.

Akshay Kumar-Veer Pahariya starrer Sky Force debuts online, but there is a catch 

Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya starrer Sky Force hit the big screens on January 24, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend. Though the movie underperformed at the box office, it received a mix to positive response from the critics and audience alike. After almost three months of theatrical release, the film has finally made its debut on the streaming platform, however, with a catch.

Sky Force is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. But, as of now, the film is only available for rent. Due to this, to watch the film viewers will have to pay a one-time fee of ₹349. Typically, a movie is made available for free for all subscribers weeks after it comes on rent.

Rekhachithram performed average at the box office. In the 50-day theatrical run, the thriller raked in ₹26.6 crore. The film is now streaming on Sony Liv.

In a rare case, the Telugu romantic comedy was released on June 7, 2024, but was yet to make its OTT debut. Manamey is headlined by Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty. The film began streaming on Amazon Prime Video from today, March 7. The movie had collected only ₹ 16.2 Cr at the domestic box office upon release, as per Sacnilk.
