Singer Amaal Malik Blames Parents After Depression Diagnosis, Talks About Being ‘Emotionally, Financially Drained’ By Them



Renowned music composer and singer Amaal Malik, the elder brother of singer Armaan Malik shocked his fans after he announced his decision on social media to cut all ties with his family. Moreover he even blamed his parents for him being diagnosed with clinical depression.

Amaal Malik took to Instagram and wrote and penned a series of notes in his latest post how his family has held him back and blamed them for his strained relationship with his brother Armaan Malik. He also said that his interaction with his family will be ‘strictly professional’.

Amal went on to say that, “Through the last many years they have left no opportunity to disturb my well being & belittle all my friendships, my relationships, my mindset, my self confidence. But I just kept marching on because I know I can and I believe I’m unshakable.”

In addition, Amaal also revealed about his clinical depression diagnosis and how he has been robbed off his peace, drained emotionally and financially too. For the unversed, Amaal Mallik is the elder of two children born to music director Daboo Malik and Jyothi Malik. He is the nephew of renowned music composer Anu Malik.

Amaal Malik has carved a niche for himself in Bollywood as one of the most prolific music composers in current times, He began his career in music at a very young age. He made his debut as a composer in 2014 with three songs for films Jai Ho, Khoobsurat and MS Dhoni : The Untold Story.

Amaal has composed some of the most popular songs, including Sooraj Dooba Hain, Khwaishein (Rock Version), Soch Na Sake, Buddhu Sa Mann and Bol Do Na Zara among others. He has also sung songs which topped the charts including Aashiq Surrender Hua, Parinda and O Khuda among others.
