Robinhood starring Nithin and Sreeleela in lead roles finally released in cinemas today, ie, on March 28 after several delays. With fans flocking to theatres, many took to social media platforms to give their verdict about the action-comedy film.
Viewers that felt that Robinhood is a lighthearted entertainer with several flaws. The actioner has garnered mixed reviews and one user took to X and wrote, “Nithiin fans call film ‘a fun ride’.

Robinhood is an Telugu language heist-action comedy film written and directed by Venky Kudumula. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie stars Nithin, Sreeleela, Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, Devdatta Nage, Shine Tom Chacko and Mime Gopi among others. While the Australian cricketer David Warner made his Telugu film debut.
The soundtrack and background score were composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, while the cinematography and editing was handled by Sai Sriram and Koti. The audio rights for the film were acquired by Sony Music Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd. Robinhood was set to theatrically release on 25 December 2024, coinciding with Christmas , but was postponed for undisclosed reasons. For the unversed, Rashmika Mandanna was initially set to star opposite Nithiin in Robinhood but departed from the project due to scheduling conflicts. There were also reports of Raashi Khanna being part of the film as the female lead.
