Recyclekaro expands e-waste recycling capacity by over threefold

Recyclekaro, which is into e-waste management and lithium-ion battery recycling, said it has increased its total e-waste recycling capacity to 24,000 tonnes annually at its facility in Palghar, near Mumbai. 

While e-waste recycling capacity has been increased from 7,500 tonnes to 24,000 tonnes per year, battery recycling capacity has grown from 4,200 tonnes to 10,000 tonnes per year, the company said in a statement.

“As we expand, we remain focused on pioneering innovative recycling solutions that will redefine the industry. By leveraging advanced technology and sustainable practices, we are driving India’s shift towards a circular economy,” said Rajesh Gupta, Founder & Director, Recyclekaro.

The company said its Palghar facility recovers critical metals such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, and manganese with “over 95% efficiency and 99.5% purity”. To date, the company has recycled 26,632 MT of e-waste and 8,432 MT of lithium-ion batteries, it said.
