Realme’s New P3 Is a Waterproof Phone At Under ₹17,000

Realme has launched P3, its new smartphone loaded with mostly mid-range specifications, such as an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, a 5G chipset, and a fast-charging battery. However, a feature that stands out is the IP69 rating, which provides maximum protection against water splashes and immersions. This is a flagship feature, but the Realme P3 brings it for less than ₹17,000.

The new Realme P3 has three variants: the one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs ₹16,999, the variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at ₹17,999, and the top model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage costs ₹19,999. Realme will offer a discount of ₹2,000 on using bank cards on each variant. The Realme P3 will be available in Comet Grey, Nebula Pink, and Space Silver colours from March 19 through Flipkart, Realme’s online store, and partner sellers.

The Realme P3 boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a full-HD+ resolution, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset powers the smartphone, which offers up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Measuring less than 8mm in thickness, the Realme P3 comes preloaded with Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0. The software includes a GT Boost mode, which allows users to play AAA titles, such as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), run at 90 frames per second (fps). It has a 50MP dual camera system on the back, supporting optical image stabilisation. Its selfie camera uses a 16MP sensor and is located inside the punch-hole on the display. The Realme P3 has a 6000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The connectivity options on the Realme P3 include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB-C port.
