Rashmika Mandanna to star in ‘Mysaa’

Actor Rashmika Mandanna, on Friday, took to social media to reveal the first look of her upcoming film “Mysaa.”

Terming the blood-smeared look as her fiercest avatar yet, the 29-year-old actor stated that the character represents a version of her that even she had not met until now.

The intense first-look poster captures Rashmika’s fierce gaze. With her face partially veiled, and covered in blood, Rashmika can be seen dressed in a red saree with tribal ornaments. The character’s raw and powerful appeal is enhanced by a distinctive moon-shaped bindi.

“I always try to give you something new. something different… something exciting. And this…. This is one of those. A character I’ve never played before… a world I’ve never stepped into and a version of me that even I hadn’t met till now,” she wrote in the caption.

“It’s fierce…. it’s intense and it’s extremely raw.. I am so nervous and super excited, I genuinely cannot wait for you to see what we’re going to be creating. This is just the beginning.” The film is produced by Unformula Films.

Mandanna’s latest film “Kuberaa” released on June 20. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the film stars Dhanush in the lead role, alongside Jim Sarbh.

Mandanna has a series of upcoming projects, including Telugu film “The Girlfriend”, and “Thama” with Sanjay Dutt and Ayushmann Khurrana.
