Ranbir Kapoor Turns Pallbearer At Ayan Mukerji’s Father’s Funeral, Hrithik Roshan Arrives On Crutches To Pay Final Respect



Director Ayan Mukerji suffered a personal loss after the passing away of his father Deb Mukherjee on March 15. The veteran actor breathed his last at the age of 83 in Mumbai. His last rites were conducted at the Pawan Hans crematorium in the city, in which several members of the film fraternity were in attendance.

Ranbir Kapoor carries Deb Mukherjee’s mortal remains

Ranbir Kapoor is one of the closest friends of filmmaker Ayan Mukerji. The actor and director have collaborated three times professionally and maintain a cordial relationship otherwise as well. At the funeral of Ayan’s father, Ranbir Kapoor turned pallbearer and shoulders his bier.

Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji are often spotted together during public events, social gatherings and on social media. They even holiday together and are a part of intimate family functions at each other’s residences. The actor-director duo will be collaborating next on Brahmastra Part 2.

War 2 actor Hrithik Roshan arrives with crutches at Deb Mukherjee’s funeral 

Ayan Mukerji’s next directorial is War 2 with Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. To pay his last respects and console the family in tough times, the actor arrived for the funeral held today (Match 14). In videos and photos from the funeral, Hrithik Roshan can be seen walking with the help of crutches at the funeral.

The actor’s appearance comes after it was reported that he sustained a major injury while shooting for the YRF actioner. it was also alleged that Hrithk’s injury has setback the production for a few days and a significant song shoot has been postponed. The actor’s latest appearance fuels the rumours.
