Posani Krishna Murali Arrested Over His Derogatory Remark Against Pawan Kalyan, Engages In Heated Argument With Cops | WATCH



Veteran Telugu actor and YSR Congress Party Member Posani Krishna Murali has landed in legal soup after he has been arrested by the Andhra Pradesh police for his alleged remarks against Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and even using casteist slurs. A video of his heated exchange with police before getting arrested has gone viral on social media. 

Posani Krishna Murali accused of making derogatory comments against Pawan Kalyan?

Several visuals from Posani Krishna Murali has now surfaced on X as he can be seen telling the police that he would not go to  police station with them. He even argued with the cops saying that he is unwell and undergoing treatment, but they refused to listen. The police then later handed over the arrest warrant to his family and took him into custody.

Posani Krishna Murali was arrested by the Andhra Pradesh police at around 8.45 pm on February 26. A case was registered against him at the Obulavaripalli police station under sections 196, 353(2), and 111, read with section 3(5) of the SC/ST Act. Reportedly, he will now be produced before the Additional Magistrate in Rajampet on Thursday. This is not the first time he has landed in controversy. Posani Krishna Murali was was booked in November 2024 for his objectionable  comments against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu .

Posani Krishna Murali is a renowned actor, director who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. He got his breakthrough opportunity to write for for Chiranjeevi’s Allude Majaka, helmed by E.V.V Satyanarayana.

Posani has been part of several popular films including Pelli Kanuka, One Man Army, Kick 2, Dhruva, Nene Raju Nene Mantri, Duvvada Jagannadham, Hello Guru Prema Kosame, Sarileru Neekevvaru and HIT: The Second Case among others.
