BLACKPINK’s Lisa is unstoppable! From releasing songs and albums to making acting debut in series, the longest member of the group is breaking record one by one. In addition to this, the k-pop artist is all set to perform at the 97th Academy Awards.
The Thai rapper, dancer, and global sensation from BLACKPINK is all set to become the first K-pop artist ever to perform live at the Oscars. The Academy’s official X handle shared the announcement with fans. The caption read, “Three global superstars. One epic #Oscars moment. Doja Cat, LISA of Blackpink, and RAYE take the stage for a showstopping celebration of cinema.”

Expect the unexpected—only at the Oscars.” As soon as the news was dropped, fans went gaga and flooded the comment section to express how proud they are. Lisa ask is known as Lalisa Manobal made her debut under YG Entertainment in a group named BLACKPINK. She released her debut single Album Lalisa and second single Money, which topped the charts and became most viewed music video.
She later made her acting debut in 2025 in the HBO television series The White Lotus. Lisa has earned several accolades, including nine Guinness World Records, a Gaon Chart Music Award, a Mnet Asian Music Award, three MTV Europe Music Awards, and two MTV Video Music Awards; she became the first K-pop soloist to win at the latter two award ceremonies.
