Oppo Find N5 Launched: Here Are Its Top Alternatives

Oppo has launched the Find N5, which it claims is the world’s thinnest foldable. The Find N5 measures 8.92mm, which is not thin by the standards of a typical flagship phone, but the company believes it could be the next big thing in the world of foldable smartphones. The Find N5 uses a 6.62-inch outer display and an 8.12-inch inner screen, claimed to be more durable than previous generation devices, partly thanks to the improved titanium hinge.

The Oppo Find N5 has the top-end Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 5600mAh battery, a 50MP triple camera setup, two selfie cameras with 8MP sensors each, and Android 15-based ColorOS. It costs roughly ₹1,62,000, but will exclusively be available in Singapore. That means if buyers in India cannot buy the Oppo Find N5, there are alternatives to consider. These alternate options offer flagship features, and even though they may not be as thin as the Find N5, they are the best options for customers in India.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: One of the best foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 packs high-end specifications. It has last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which is only slightly behind the Snapdragon 8 Elite in performance. It has a 7.6-inch inner display and a 6.3-inch outer display, both featuring AMOLED panels with a high resolution and refresh rate. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 houses 50MP triple cameras, including a telephoto sensor. It also has two selfie cameras, one with a 4MP sensor and another with a 10MP sensor. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 uses a 4400mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. It costs ₹1,49,999 for the base model, but customers can get it for less with discount offers. Samsung offers seven years of major Android upgrades, which makes it a better option than Oppo’s new foldable for customers planning for a long-term smartphone.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold: Google’s first foldable phone in India, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold brings the goodness of pure Android, along with Google’s Gemini AI features, which may not be available on the Find N5. The foldable has a 6.3-inch cover display and an 8-inch inner display, both using OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a high resolution. Powered by the Google Tensor G4 chip, the foldable supports native Gemini AI features and supports up to seven Android version upgrades. The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a 48MP triple camera system on the back, and two 10MP sensors, one on the cover and one on the inside, for selfies. It has a 4650mAh battery, which uses 21W fast charging. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold costs ₹1,72,999 for the top storage model.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is another phone customers can consider. It has an 8.03-inch main display and a 6.53-inch cover display, both featuring AMOLED panels with support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro uses a 50MP triple-camera system, including a 64MP periscope telephoto sensor. Its selfie camera uses a 32MP sensor. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro costs ₹1,59,999.
