NTPC pays second interim dividend of ₹2,424 crore


NTPC Ltd. said for FY25 it has paid the second interim dividend of ₹2,424 crore to its shareholders on Tuesday. The first Interim dividend of ₹2,424 crore was paid in November 2024.

This is the 32nd consecutive year that the company has paid dividend.

NTPC Ltd. contributes one-fourth of the India’s power requirements and has an installed capacity of over 77 GW, with an additional capacity of 29.5 GW under construction, including 9.6 GW of renewable energy capacity. The company is targeting to achieve 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032.

Apart from power generation, NTPC has ventured into various new business areas, including e-mobility, battery storage, pumped hydro storage, waste-to-energy, nuclear power, and green hydrogen solutions.
