After Moana 2 enthralled audience with its musical charm in cinemas, the animated film is all set to make its digital debut soon. While fans enjoyed in theatres, many are eagerly waiting for its release on streaming platform.
Moana 2 is all set to premiere on streaming giant Jio Hotstar on March 12. It is also available for digital rental and purchase on platform like Prime Video and Apple TV.
As soon as the news was dropped, fans couldn’t stop their excitement to watch one of their favourite character. One user wrote, “Loved it so much”. According to report in Sacnilk, the animated film minted ₹29.1 crore and gross collection is ₹34.4 crore. While worldwide it collected ₹6105.64 crore. Moana is set tin the ancient Polynesia and tells the story of Moana, the determined and strong-willed daughter of a chief of coastal village who is chosen by the ocean itself. The animated film in which the characters has been voiced by Dwayne Johnson, Nicole Scherzinger, Alan Tudyk, Rose Matafeo, Auli’i Cravalho and Temuera Morrison among others. Moana 2 released in theatres in India on November 29.
In addition, Dwayne Rock Johnson is set to reprise his role as the Polynesian demigod Maui in the upcoming live-action remake of Moana. Thomas Kail will be directing the film and Lin-Manuel Miranda will work on the music, including new original songs fro the live-action drama.
