Mere Husband Ki Biwi Box Office Collection Day 2: Arjun, Bhumi, Rakul-starrer Sees Steady Growth, Earns ₹1.65 Crore

Mere Husband Ki Biwi box office collection Day 2: Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh-starrer Mere Husband Ki Biwi hit the big screen on February 21. Despite being heavily trolled, the comedy-drama got good reviews. However, judging by the box office numbers, seems like reviews did not help much to attract the crowd to cinema halls. While the film opened as the second-worst performer of 2025, it saw a mere 10% increase on Day 2.

Arjun Kapoor’s film was expected to see higher collections on its second day due to positive reviews from critics and audiences. However, it showed no growth. According to Sacnilk, the film earned ₹1.65 crore at the box office on its first Saturday, bringing its total earnings to ₹3.15 crore, based on early estimates.

On Saturday, the film recorded an overall 10.34% Hindi occupancy, with 7.17% in morning shows, 13.50% in afternoon shows, and 0% in evening and night shows. It is also facing stiff competition from Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna, which has become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. Chhaava has earned over ₹300 crore worldwide since its release on February 8.

The recent film Azaad, which starred newcomers Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan, made ₹1.5 crore at the box office and was declared a flop within a week. And with this, Mere Husband Ki Biwi positions as one of the weakest Bollywood openers of 2025. As per sacnilk, it made ₹1.5 crore on its opening day. The only mainstream Hindi film to perform worse was Loveyapa, starring Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan, which earned ₹1.15 crore.
