Madhuri Dixit Remembers Mother Snehlata On Her Second Death Anniversary, Shares Unseen Photos From The Archives



Madhuri Dixit took to her Instagram account to share a series of photos on her mother’s second death anniversary. Remembering her, the actress also penned a note mentioning how much she misses her. Fans and well-wishers of Madhuri took to the comment section to share their condolence and motivate the actress to stay strong in the tough times.

Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit remembered her mother, Snehlata Dixit, on her second death anniversary. She penned an emotional note and shared a series of throwback pictures. On March 12, the Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress took to her Instagram account to share the photos with the caption, “Two years without you, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss you. Your love, your wisdom, and your presence are felt in every moment. Forever in my heart, Mom.”

The first slide in the carousel post featured a framed photo of Madhur’s mother with a garland around it. In the next photo, she shared a throwback photo where she could be seen seated in the audience with her mother beside her at a public event. She ended the post with a monochrome photo of herself talking to her mother.

Madhuri Dixit’s mother Snehalata Dikshit passed away aged 91 on March 12, 2023. In a joint statement issued by Madhuri and her husband Shriram Nene, the couple confirmed the news of her passing. The last rites were held at the Worli crematorium on March 14 at around 3:00 pm. She reportedly passes away due to an age-releated illness.
