L2 Empuraan: Studies Take Back Seat As Bengaluru College Declares Holiday On Release Day, Fan Show To Be Organised



L2: Empuraan release is closing in and fan anticipation around it is sky-high. Franchise director and star Prithviraj Sukumaran has said that while the Malayalam film industry has produced critically acclaimed, independent movies with unique narratives, it is yet to make a mark in the mainstream space and the sequel to his hit film Lucifer could be a step in the direction. Meanwhile, chatter around the film is growing, leading to record-breaking advance sales.

Fans of Mohanlal are preparing for the grand release of L2: Empuraan on March 27 and a private institute in Bengaluru has declared a holiday on the day the sequel hits the big screens. Additionally, a special fan show has been booked for the students by the Managing Director of the college, who is a big admirer of Mohanlal. The special screening will take place at Movietime Cinemas, YGR Mall, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru, at 7 am on the release day.

Announcing the initiative via an Instagram post, the Good Shepherd Institutions expressed its enthusiasm, stating, “When passion and fandom come together, records are shattered! Our beloved MD, a die-hard Lalettan fan, has gone the extra mile to celebrate the magic of cinema by booking an exclusive 7 a.m. fan show of #Empuraan just for the students of our college!”
