Kudumbasthan On OTT: When And Where To Watch Manikandan-Saanve Megghana Starrer Online



Kudumbasthan featuring Manikandan and Saanve Megghana released in cinemas on January 24 and received positive reviews from audience as well as critics. Now, the fans can watch it once again at the comfort of their homes after the film made its digital debut recently.

Kudumbasthan is now available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages on ZEE5. The streaming platform took to X handle and announced the news. The caption read, “Watch The Middle-Class Blockbuster of 2025 #KudumbasthanOnZEE5 –  Now  Streaming”.

Fans expressed their excitement and flooded the comment section, One user wrote, “Manikandan my favourite Hero”. Another user wrote, “Nice family entertainment movie, comedy super”.  The digital streaming and satellite rights were acquired by ZEE5 and Kalaignar TV.

Kudumbasthan is a Tamil-language comedy drama. According to a report in Sacnilk, the film earned ₹23.3 crore in India, while worldwide it minted, ₹27 crore. Helmed by Rajeshwar Kaliswamy, the film stars K Manikandan, Saanve Megghana, R Sundarrajan, Guru Somasundaram and Nivedita Rajappan among others.

The film has music composed by Vaisagh, cinematography handled by Sujith N. Subramaniam and editing by Kannan Balu. The Tamil-language comedy tells the story of a lower-middle-class man who faces mounting debts and family tensions after losing his job. How he overcomes financial struggle, personal conflicts forms the main crux of the plot.

The lead of the film Manikandan is one of the most renowned actors in the Tamil film industry. He is best known for his works in Jai Bhim, Good Night and Lover among others.
