Kartik Aaryan has been in the news either for his movies or his dating life. Speaking of which, at IIFA 2025, Nora Fatehi took a jibe at the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actor for dating several actresses. It all started when Kartik and Karan Johar, who were hosting the award ceremony stepped down from the stage and interacted with Nora, seated in the front row. Among all the questions, they asked her about her relationship status. On hearing this, the Street Dancer 3D actress wittily shifted the focus to Kartik, and asked him, “Koi hai iss industry mein jisko aapne date nahi kiya? (Is there anyone in the industry you haven’t dated?)”.
This left the audience in splits, while Kartik blushed. He then added, “She is just asking a question.”
Nora’s question has come amid the rumours of him dating Sreeleela, with whom he will star in Anurag Basu’s yet-to-be-titled romantic musical drama. Earlier, he was rumoured to be dating Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday.
During the award ceremony, Kartik’s mother Mala Tiwari was asked whether she would prefer an actor or a doctor as her daughter-in-law. She chose a doctor. For the unversed, Sreeleela holds an MBBS degree while her mother, Swarnalatha, is a gynaecologist based in Bangalore.
Not just this, a few days ago, a video went viral on the internet that shows the Guntur Kaaram actress attending an actor’s family function. A video is surfacing on Reddit that shows Sreeleela dancing with other guests while Kartik records the moment. According to the user, the celebration was held for Kartik’s sister Kritika Tiwari as she earned her medical degree and is now a certified doctor. In the video, she can be seen dancing to Mast Qalandar, while in the background we can hear Kartik’s hearty laugh.
Meanwhile, Kartik and Sreeleela’s romantic drama is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, the movie is set in a musical universe. The first look of the movie was released on February 15 and shows Kartik in a brooding look with a heavy beard (just like the one in the above viral video) and long hair. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on Diwali 2025.
