Kiara Advani Quits Don 3 Amid Continued Delays And Her Pregnancy Announcement? To Remain Part Of War 2, Toxic



Kiara Advani recently shared that she is expecting her first child with husband Sidharth Malhotra. Due to this, speculation quickly began about her upcoming projects. Many questioned how the actress would manage this time and what’s in store for her upcoming work commitments.

Reports have started doing the rounds that Kiara has opted out of featuring in Ranveer Singh-fronted Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar. The reboot project was announced in August 2023 but has not gone on the floors yet. Now, it seems like the leading lady has backed out from the movie.

Don 3 has been delayed by more than a year and a half now. Ranveer has been busy with the shooting of his untitled next with director Aditya Dhar. Farhan Akhtar, meanwhile, has 120 Bahadur to shoot for. Speculation has been rife over Don 3 since its announcement. Many have dubbed it the “most unwanted sequel” while some defended Ranveer’s casting as the iconic Hindi cinema anti-villain.

Kiara has reportedly only quit Don 3 from her slate of movies. She will continue to be part of Yash starrer Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown Ups and War 2, opposite Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.

On the work front, Kiara was last seen in Game Changer opposite Ram Charan. the movie was a commercial failure and Kiara also faced criticism for the length and depth of her role in the Shankar directorial. Now, she is all set to feature in Ayan Mukerji’s War 2. The sequel to the 2019 film starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, the actioner will take forward the YRF spy universe after Tiger 3. Reportedly, War 2 will release during the Independence Day weekend later this year.
